"We're not shy about helping — if it's good for the community — we want to be involved!" That's our philosophy, and with our great team of employees, we make a difference in the quality of life in each of our communities.

SPONSORSHIP OF LOCAL EVENTS AND DONATIONS

Each of the three restaurants are committed to their local communities through their support of a variety of causes. Groups Reel has supported in the past include: events related to the arts such as the Mozart Festival or school band raffles; worthy programs such as Big Brother/Big Sister; one-day walkathons such as the MS Walk; unique events such as the Taste of Hartford or a special dinner for a family dealing with terminally ill family member; and an assortment of miscellaneous donations such as the Chamber of Commerce mixers or providing several hundred meals to those in need on Thanksgiving.

CELEBRITY WAIT-A-THONS

Celebrity Wait-a-thon Dinners benefit a selected local charity or organization. Community celebrities team up to take your order — dinner is served by your favorite butcher, baker or candlestick maker... or maybe your favorite local columnist, politician, radio personality, lawyer — or maybe even your boss! These events promise an evening you won't forget. In essence, the community gets together, has a great evening in the restaurant — all while raising money for great causes. Employee and community volunteerism at its best!

'PARTNERS IN EDUCATION' PROGRAM

The restaurants have developed strong relationships with their local schools through the 'Partners in Education' Program. Elementary school students get to take tours of our restaurants, and learn more about the operations, and enjoy our food. Teachers appreciate the tours, and kids love them.
